New PC: Hardware Key Not Detected

Run 'SSD Cleanup Utility" to wipe all Sentinel Drivers and reinstall the latest one. 


GibbsCAM uses two types of USB keys:

The type can be determined from the 5 digit USB key ID, which is printed either on the key or on the tag connected to the key:

  • If the key ID starts with a 3, 4, 5, or 6, then it is a Rainbow key.

  • If the key ID starts with a 7, then it is a HASP key.

If necessary, the following utility can be used to wipe all Sentinel drivers before reinstalling the latest one:
