Force An App to Use the Dedicated GPU On Windows


  1. Close Gibbs.
  2. Open Settings: Press Win + I to open the Settings app.
  3. Click on System and then select Display.
  4. Access Graphics Settings: Scroll down and click on Graphics.
  5. Add the Application: Under the Custom settings for applications section, click on Add Desktop App. Use the Browse button to locate the application you want to force to use the dedicated GPU.
  6. Select the App: Once added, select the app from the list and click on Options.
  7. Choose High Performance: In the Graphics preference pop-up, select High performance to use the dedicated GPU (NVIDIA/AMD). Click Save to apply the changes.
